I speak about being an ethical creator in this new era of the Fediverse, building websites with close-to-vanilla specs, and traveling in and around the Portland, Oregon region.

Why?

I've always viewed my work through the lens of sharing freely with like-minded creatives on the open web, and it's distressing to see so much of what we've worked for these past 30 years in danger of being overshadowed by Big Tech. Thankfully there's a growing movement to move forward by putting protocols over platforms, and I'm totally here for it!
