I work as a freelance Cloud Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer / Platform Engineer. I also volunteer for strange charities.
Why?
When I first started in the IT industry, there was a hierarchy - and I worked my up it from developer, to DBA, to sysadmin, to infrastructure manager. Eventually, I realised what I enjoyed was releasing software.
