What if? The smallest question with the longest consequences.

Pianist, composer, and professor of music
What do you do?
I compose, perform, and teach music that sits at the intersection of jazz, contemporary composition, and civic responsibility.
Why?
I’m drawn to the tension between structure and uncertainty—the moment when music becomes thought in real time. Increasingly, my work treats composition as a civic act: a way to listen, to question, and to respond to the world as it is.
