The more I learn, the more I realize that understanding something isn't the same as being able to explain it. Sometimes the most interesting questions begin where the standard explanation stops being satisfying.

What do you do?
I explore chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computing by turning questions into research, experiments, and things I build.
Why?
I do it because I’m curious about how things work—and dissatisfied with stopping at the usual explanation. I like taking questions apart, following them into unfamiliar territory, and turning what I learn into things I can build, test, or investigate.
