What do you do?

I entered development to write code, not to become a documentation specialist and JQL query analyst. With AI increasingly positioned as 'the' coder, I find myself relegated to endless ticket triage and status tracking—not the craft I signed up for.

Why?

Because someone has to fund the bass string habit, and triaging JQL tickets pays the bills — even if it wasn't the dream. Ultimately, I'm just working toward being on a first-name basis at Sweetwater.
