Wanderer, your footsteps are the road, and nothing more; wanderer, there is no road, the road is made by walking. - Antonio Machado, Proverbios y cantares, 1912
Location:
Montpellier, France
Professional title:
Hands-on tech leader with 25+ years of experience across engineering, infrastructure, and management.
What do you do?
I help SMEs build information systems aligned with their strategy: efficient, resilient, and fairly priced. Beyond pure tech, I support leadership teams moving from pyramidal organizations toward shared-governance models: sociocracy, holacracy, and transitions to cooperative legal forms (SCIC, SCOP). As an indie hacker, I build small, fast, and private tools rooted in the Small Web philosophy.
Why?
In my fifties, I live this life from one adjacent possible to another, as it’s the best "Taoist" balance I've found, and it suits me well so far.
What should we read?
Walden, by Henry David Thoreau. Slowly. The book asks to be read that way.
Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo XIV's first encyclical. Strikingly clear-sighted, I find.
