We shouldn’t be working to eliminate all friction from digital experiences. We should be calibrating for the right amount of friction — a level that serves as a protectant against over-stimulation and burnout, a level that doesn't decimate human-to-human connection.

What do you do?
I build things for the web, tell stories, and collect internet trinkets.
Why?
I love making something out of nothing with code, especially independent and open source projects, and love learning new languages (both spoken and programming). I tell stories because I'm a theater kid who eventually found her way into film and loves writing, so...naturally. I collect internet trinkets because there's a lot of cool stuff on the internet, if you know where to look.
What should we read?
"Tao Te Ching" translated by Ursula K. Le Guin
