What do you do?
I write and record. I create character-driven plays and stories with a penchant for the absurd about family, working-class people, and outsiders. I produce the Arts Calling podcast to highlight independent creatives in the literary, visual, and performing arts. I founded the Coalition for Digital Narratives to nurture community.
Why?
Writing, recording, and collaborating are my default settings. What I do connects me with remarkable, empathetic people, and helps me make sense of this absurd world. I believe storytelling is essential to our humanity.
