“Climate change, systemic racism, economic inequality, and other issues plague our culture. Media controls and distorts our emotions as well as our response. Our best ideas are diminished into binary choices, made subservient to simplistic narratives. Only a human, empathetic expression might change someone’s perspective. What was radical is now mainstream. This is why art is so important.”

Our mass awakening cannot be stopped.
What do you do?
It’s not you, it’s capitalism. Thought-provoking original songs with a Billy Bragg ethos of "mixing pop and politics." Social: @mboezi everywhere
Why?
I perform regularly in the metro Boston area in a busking, "electric folk" style – and in a band format too. My recordings have a fuller sound to them, while retaining the singer-songwriter feel. As a writer, I want the lyrics to always be front and center. I get compared to Kurt Vile, Andrew Bird, Johnny Marr, Elvis Costello, Mountain Goats, Lord Huron, Eels, R.E.M., Dire Straits, and Richard Thompson.
