What do you do?

By day I manage a small family real estate company involved in multi-family and commercial work in the Central Valley of California. But my real current passion is making gin! When the right opportunities arise I also enjoy solving wild and wooly technology problems that don't fit into a box.

Why?

Real estate pays the bills, and hey, it's good to know how to manage capital and assets. Gin making is an incredible synthesis of many things I've been excited about my entire life: nature and plants specifically, smells and flavors, and (as an adult) cocktails and spirits culture and history. Technology and problem solving are my ther great life-long passion, and I still greatly enjoy coming up with an elegant solution to something that until that moment seemed intractable.
