“As with my years of travel, keeping a state of curiosity and an open mind helps keep me firmly lodged in the present tense. Curiosity is what helps keep me afloat through the constant pain, through the grief, and through the ups and downs of learning to live in a very different body.”

What do you do?
I share stories about curiosity, health, and grief, and help celiacs travel safely.
Why?
After many years of nomadic living, a medical procedure changed my life and left me disabled. In muddling my way through the subsequent mess publicly, I hope to help people feel less alone. I also write to provide people with tools to face their challenges more confidently.
What should we read?
Full Catastrophe Living, by Jon Kabat-Zinn. When Things Fall Apart, by Pema Chodron The Brain’s Way of Healing, by Norman Doidge The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, by Elizabeth Tova Bailey
