I write books, host shows, speak to crowds of five and five-thousand, and learn in public.

Why?

I have a very finite amount of time in which to do everything I'll ever do, and this is the best way I've found to ensure I'm able to consistently expose myself to new and challenging people, ideas, and experiences, while also being able to afford groceries.

Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen. (Or if you want something more upbeat, This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone).
