Martin Buber's "I/thou" thinking (as opposed to I/it) for how we relate to other people and things in the world. Recognizing that we are all part of the same unified whole. Allowing for "thou" to have the same depth of experience and existence as "I."

Location:

Somerville, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

Professional title:

Author and international admissions counselor.

What do you do?

I write fiction and also help Chinese people apply to American universities.

Why?

I write because I have a burning lifelong need to do so that cannot be ignored. I help people apply to university because it's highly flexible and pays the bills.

What should we read?
