Abundance often causes complacency, but the antidote doesn't need to be scarcity; memory of what was should drive appreciation for what is

Barberton, Ohio, U.S.A.

Professional title:

bad photographer & decent technologist

What do you do?

I'm a software engineer, photographer, and public servant. I enjoy creating things; I'm very good at building software, but I prefer the challenge of making photos

Why?

I used to create software from passion, but now I mostly do it to pay the bills. I think it is important to notice the world and appreciate its beauty, so I take photographs. And, I do public service because I'd rather try than just complain
