What do you do?

I build things and support people.

Why?

Despite their blemishes, most industries have functional supply chains (e.g., grocery industry gets food to people). The "social impact sector" (aka, community-based nonprofit world) does not have a functional supply chain. This makes it hard for communities to access the services they need from community-based providers. My organization is working to build a mini-version of a functional supply chain for the social impact sector, then slowly grow it over time.

What should we read?

Deep Survival by Lawrence Gonzales.
