“I've always been inspired by entrepreneurs and those intrepid souls who can make something out of nothing, especially when it looks like there's no way out. We must all be ready to reinvent at ANY time in our life cycle and we can never stop learning. Ultimately, aging is inevitable, growth is optional.”

What do you do?

Ram Dass said, We're all just walking each other home and I am creating a virtual 'home' for disenfranchised, unemployed Baby Boomers by crowdsourcing a movement.

Why?

While I don't dwell on it, my husband and I went through a very difficult time due to his loss of employment at age 51 one week after 9/11. His loss of income compounded by serious health issues (two back surgeries and a hip replacement, just to name a few) and additional catastrophic financial setbacks resulted in a complete disruption of our life. We tried to pay all of our debts, but ended up being completely wiped out (short and long-term savings, life insurance/disability policy, etc.), ultimately we were forced into bankruptcy. Our story has been replicated across the country.
