Writing is magick. Writers are alchemists. You can't turn lead into gold but you can turn words into money.

What do you do?
I subsist on a steady diet of tea and disappointment.
Why?
Writers write, right? I help writers and artists to do their best work.
What should we read?
'A Wild Sheep Chase' by Haruki Murakami. I love Haruki Murakami and that was the first book of his that I read. When I visited Japan every day I tried to find a book by Haruki Murakami as a gift for a friend. In bookshop after bookshop I baffled the lovely staff. My Japanese was so bad. I thought that I'd asked if they had anything in stock by him but what I actually said was: "Does Haruki Murakami live here?"
