I believe money is a tool, can be both good and bad. I believe more and more people will stop chasing and might be completely deprecated in a future. Maybe because AI and robots do work that we don't want to do. Therefore people and big governments will have no incentive to pay salaries (slavery with extra steps, as Rick and Morty say) and dictatorships/rulers will have no incentive to enslave people. Experiences will be worth more than money, and we will be ready to start Solar System and later on, Galaxy exploration.

O Arqueiro de Paulo Coelho (The Archer, by Paulo Coelho). The book is better in Portuguese.
