“The notion that what we 'do' is not always the thing we get paid for. When asked at a party "what do you do?" I don't tell people I develop/deliver sustainable strategy/projects. I tell them I'm a photographer with a passion for sharing the wonders of the natural world. I tell them that I read books, maintain a website, study, and explore the world with my girlfriend. This is what I dedicate my time to. In my spare time I work to earn enough money to allow me to do what I do.”

What do you do?

I strive to leave a small part of the world a better place then when I found it. I achieve this via visual story-telling and through my paid work in local government delivering green-tech projects.

Why?

I want to share the wonders of the natural world with all those who wish to engage with it with the hope of driving small-scale behaviour change across a large number of people. It's important to me that my time on this rock is spent respecting it and it's inhabitants; past, present, and future.
