I can let ChatGPT tell my kid a bedtime story. Or I can read one to her myself. These choices are gonna get harder. The AI version is going to keep getting better. Cheaper. More convenient. And the big companies are going to keep proving they can do more with less people. Not because they need to - because the market rewards it. But we don’t have to want the world they’re building. I don’t have this figured out. I really don’t. But I know I refuse to pay my way into not needing people anymore.
