Here's something I realized the hard way after a few years of business travels and coming back home in the nordics, where I feel so happy and safe: (A rough Moomin quote) : "Sometimes you must go on a long journey before you can really find out how wonderful home is."

Location:

Helsinki, Finland

Professional title:

Founder & CEO of Cryptee (Designer/Coder/Musician/Amateur Photographer/Vegan)

What do you do?

I build Cryptee, an activistic end-to-end encrypted platform for photos and docs, I compose modern classical music and take photos in my free time.

Why?

I do what I do because the internet and the world is increasingly becoming a scarier place. I decided to create Cryptee, -an activistic company- to have a safe corner on the internet, and help others have an online place where they feel at home. And I love composing orchestral classical music because it allows me to express myself in greater depths than anything else can.

What should we read?

(1) The Art of Thinking Clearly, by Rolf Dobelli (2) The Time Paradox, by John Boyd & Philip Zimbardo (A book I discovered thanks to Derek's book "Hell yeah or no" : https://sive.rs/n)
