If p is a polynomial of degree 100 such that p(n) = (-1)^n (100 choose n) then the finite difference triangle of p gives you a cutout of Pascal's triangle. For example, this implies p(101) = 201 choose 101. (From the 2024 Math Prize for Girls exam.)

What do you do?
I mentor some really great students who would otherwise wouldn't be challenged by their schools.
Why?
I think the kids really appreciate it. I want to be the kind of mentor that I would've wanted when I was growing up.
What should we read?
Wat Wat, a lightning talk by Gary Bernhardt from CodeMash 2012
